Asemic Poetry

Is a loose-leaf book of hybrid and unique monoprinted pieces (some drawn on the iPad, many in the studio using either the press or the Gelli Pad or a combination of them all), based on the concept of asemic poetry, where the ‘writing’ is a form of automatic response, and unsemantically derived – in this case my reaction to pieces of quiet music, from Beethoven to Cohen, From Mtchell to Ali Farka Toure. I keep printing such pieces because I also sell these as stand alone prints.
